‘Brain Doe’, ‘Crushed’ & ‘Dead Ringer’ Official Details

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gets things started with “Brain Doe” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and a spare organ leaves the CSIs perplexed:
When the CSI team arrives at a car crash, they find three casualties and a human brain that doesn’t belong to any of the victims. Also, D.B. Russell is concerned his son is not focused on college following his suspension from school.
Co-Producer Brad Tanenbaum directed 11 previous episodes of CSI, including “Tell Tale Hearts” earlier this season. Supervising Producer Gavin Harris has two writing credits for the series, and he most recently created the story for “CSI Down”.

Alex Carter is reprising his role as Detective Vartann, who was last seen in season eleven’s “The List”. Barbara Eve Harris was first seen as Sheriff Liston in “Maid Man” last month. Brandon W Jones guest-starred in the CSI: New York episode “Food for Thought” during the show’s seventh season, Robyn Lively was in season two’s “Manhattan Manhunt”, and Erik Audé appeared in the season three episode “Not What It Looks Like”. Victor Webster was in the CSI: Miami episode “Throwing Heat” during season five. The other actors are new to the franchise.
On Friday, CSI: New York is on the case when a teenager gets “Crushed” at 9:00pm ET/PT:
When news of a high school house party goes viral, resulting in overcrowding, a collapsed porch and a teenage girl’s death, the CSIs must use social media to uncover the truth about how she died. Meanwhile, Jo’s final case at the FBI returns to haunt her.
Director Duane Clark has helmed eight previous episodes of the crime drama, most recently the season seven premiere, “The 34th Floor”. Kim Clements has two writing credits, including last season’s “The Untouchable”.

CSI: Miami rounds out the week with “Dead Ringer” on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and Horatio once again comes face to face with his elusive new enemy:

Producer Sam Hill has 33 directing credits for Miami, most recently “Killer Regrets” from last month. Co-Producer Tamara Jaron penned 10 previous episodes, including season nine’s “Caged”.

Christian Clemenson and Ed Begley Jr are reprising established recurring roles. Carlos Bernard and Kuno Becker are back as Diego and Esteban Navarro, who were introduced in “Look Who’s Taunting” last month. Olivia Taylor Dudley also guest-starred in “Look Who’s Taunting”. Taylor Cole appeared in last week’s episode, “Sinner Takes All”. Dana Ward played a reporter during the season ten premiere, “Countermeasures”. Graham Shiels was in the CSI: NY episode “No Good Deed” during the show’s fifth season. Dwayne Adway guest-starred on CSI in the season three episode “Lucky Strike”, and Tess Lina was in season six’s “Room Service”.
