The Season 8 Premiere Of ‘CSI:NY’ Takes The Top Spot

CSI: New York’s eighth season debuted at the top of the ratings on Friday, September 23. “Indelible” pulled in 10.66 million viewers, beating Dateline (6.39 million), a repeat of the Revenge pilot (4.13 million), Fringe (3.53 million) and Supernatural (1.95 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, New York earned a 1.8 rating/6 share. This tied the crime drama with Dateline (1.8/6) and put it ahead of Fringe (1.5/5), Revenge (1.0/3) and Supernatural (0.8/2). Compared to the season seven finale, New York’s ratings were up slightly but remain even.
