Scott Lowell, who appeared on the HBO series Queer As Folk for over five years, has booked a juicy role for an October episode. Lowell confirmed the news on Twitter. He’ll play the role of Coach Dwight Galen in an episode that finds a former convict–who happens to be the brother of a top-tier basketball player–released from prison, and possibly being framed for a new crime.
In recent months Lowell has appeared on CBS’ NCIS and the FOX series Bones. His episode, tentatively titled “Air Apparent,” is expected to air in late October.
