‘CSI’ Brings Out Catherine’s Inner ‘Action Hero’

1 min read

Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn offers some details about Marg Helgenberger’s (Catherine Willows) upcoming exit from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. (Spoilers after the jump!)

Mendelsohn is hoping that Helgenberger might decide to stick around after season 12, but the writers have been planning her exit for a while. “The final case that Catherine will be involved in will actually put her and her family and the people that she cares about in jeopardy,” Mendelsohn told TV Guide. “Catherine won’t just take it lying down, for sure. She’ll take matters into her own hands and get to the truth. It will be Catherine, action hero.”

  1. Oh that will be nice. I like Catherine. I think that she will stick up for her family. Please bring it on. Can’t wait to see the episode. I hope that they can do it without commercials or make it a 2 hour episode.

  2. I can’t wait to see what happens this season. I wonder how they will do Ray’s departure.

  3. me too, I mean, I hate this kind of off-screen departure of a main character, would it be better that he sticks around for season premiere and use the whole episode to give him a proper exit instead of having other characters to explain what happened to him and where does he go?
