‘CSI:NY’ Remembers 9/11

The season eight premiere of CSI: New York will honor the tenth anniversary of September 11th in a way that is very personal for leading man Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise). (Spoilers after the jump!)

As New York viewers learned during the pilot episode, “Blink”, Mac’s wife Claire died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. It has been ten years since the tragedy, and the crime drama will give Mac some emotional material during the season premiere. According to TV Line and TV Guide, Claire will be featured in flashbacks that offer a glimpse of the hours leading up to the attack. A new forensic tech named Hannah will make things more difficult for Mac by asking questions about his late wife.
