‘Miami’ Ratings Are In, But They Don’t Mean Much
1 min readThe final ratings for Sunday, May 1 are now available. Due to President Barack Obama’s speech regarding the death of Osama bin Laden, CSI: Miami was preempted on the West Coast and interrupted elsewhere in the country; TV By the Numbers reports that the ratings offer only 80% coverage. According to the final numbers, “G.O.” pulled in 7.65 million viewers and a 1.8 rating/5 share in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers. These are series low numbers, but keep in mind that they only offer a partial picture due to the preemptions and interruptions.
Don’t forget that CBS will re-air “G.O.” on Saturday, May 7 at 9:00pm ET/PT for those who missed the episode and didn’t catch it online.
