‘CSI:NY’ Has Slight Rise In Viewers, Dip In Demo
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: New York, “Life Sentence”, won the hour on Friday, May 6. The series pulled in 9.31 million viewers, which was up slightly from the last episode, and it was more than enough to put the series ahead of the first hour of Dateline (5.20 million), Primetime: What Would You Do? (4.04 million), the season finale of Fringe (3.30 million) and Supernatural (2.08 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, New York was down slightly from last week with a 1.5 rating/5 share for the hour. However, that was still enough to beat the competition. Dateline earned a 1.4/4 at 9:00pm, Fringe and Primetime tied with 1.2/4, and Supernatural rounded out the hour with 0.9/3.
