The ninth season of CSI: Miami comes to a close this week, while CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: New York air the second-to-last episodes of the year. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is on the trail of a killer in “Cello and Goodbye” on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT:

Langston becomes more determined than ever to track down Nake Haskell, the notorious ‘Dick & Jane’ killer, after discovering that he’s kidnapped his ex-wife, Gloria, on the 250th episode.

Director Alec Smight has 20 credits for the series, including “Hitting for the Cycle” earlier this season. Christopher Barbour co-wrote “Cello and Goodbye” with executive producer Don McGill. Barbour has penned four episodes, most recently “The Two Mrs Grissoms”, and McGill previously wrote “Bump and Grind”.

The episode will feature the following guest-stars:

  • Bill Irwin as Nate Haskell
  • Elisabeth Harnois as Morgan Brody
  • Amanda Wyss as Tina Vincent

Bill Irwin is back as serial killer Nate Haskell, and Amanda Wyss returns as one of his “brides”, Tina Vincent. They were both seen in the last episode, “Father of the Bride”, along with Raymond J. Barry as Arvin Thorpe. Tracee Ellis Ross returns as Langston’s ex-wife Gloria, and Dean Norris plays her new husband Phil. They were introduced in “All That Cremains” earlier this season, and they also had a brief appearance at the end of “Father of the Bride”. Elisabeth Harnois is making her first appearance as Morgan Brody—as CSI Files previously reported, Harnois will return next season as a series regular. Michael King played Detective Dean Truby in two episodes of CSI: New York, most recently season three’s “Comes Around”. Danny Nucci appeared in the New York episode “Vacation Getaway” during the show’s sixth season, and Terrence Edwards was in the season two episode “Heroes”.

On Friday, Peter Fonda returns to CSI: New York in “Life Sentence” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

After a hail of gunfire tears through the crime lab, Mac and his ex-partner become part of a vendetta 17 years in the making.

Jeffrey Hunt directed six previous episodes of CSI: NY, most recently “Flag on the Play” during season six. Christopher Silber has three writing credits for the series, including “Vigilante” from earlier this season. Silber co-wrote “Life Sentence” with Adam Targum, who also has three credits (most recently for this season’s “Party Down”).

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

  • Peter Fonda as William Hunt
  • Clifton Collins, Jr. as Raymond Harris
  • Jenny Mollen as Det. Angela Sayer
  • Vince Pavia as Officer Stone
  • Michael Worth as Lucius Woods

Peter Fonda and Clifton Collins, Jr appeared in last week’s episode, “Nothing for Something”. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: Miami will be the first member of the franchise to air its season finale on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and “Mayday” finds several members of the team in peril:

After Horatio finally captures the last prison escapee, their transport plane crash lands, and the CSIs discover this fugitive has more planned than just a getaway.

Director Sam Hill has helmed 30 episodes of Miami, most recently “About Face” earlier this season. The finale was written by co-executive producers Marc Dube and Barry O’Brien. Dube has 29 writing credits, and O’Brien has 19—most recently, the pair co-wrote this season’s “Happy Birthday”.
