‘Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead’, ‘The Untouchable’ & ‘Stoned Cold’ Official Details

The franchise airs three new episodes this week featuring zombies, conspiracy theories and revenge against a bully. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts things out on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT with “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead”, and the dead will rise:

The CSIs are on zombie alert when two men initially pronounced dead mysteriously come back to life.

This is the first time Paul McCrane has directed an episode of CSI, but he guest-starred in the season ten episode “World’s End”. Tom Mularz penned five previous episodes, including “Cold Blooded” from earlier this season.

Archie Kao and Jon Wellner are reprising established recurring roles, and Larry Mitchell and Joseph Patrick Kelly are back as Officer Mitchell and Officer Metcalf. Las Vegas news anchor Paula Francis has portrayed herself in 21 episodes of CSI, including “Irradiator” from last season. Jon Farless played different roles in five previous episodes, most recently last season’s “Take My Life, Please!” The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Friday, the CSI: New York team separates theory from reality in “The Untouchable” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

When a conspiracy-obsessed woman is found dead, the CSIs investigate and discover that some of her theories may have had some truth to them.

“The Untouchable” marks the first time co-executive producer Vikki Williams has directed an episode of New York. Kim Clements penned “Scared Stiff” earlier this season.

The episode will feature the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • Matt Corboy as Keith DeYoung
  • Steve Richard Harris as Peter Grant
  • Jon Fleming as Derek Perry
  • Don Fischer as Matthew Stratford
  • April Eden as Female Attacker


Don Fischer appeared in the CSI: Miami episode “Murder in a Flash” during the show’s third season, and April Eden guest starred in “Goodbye and Good Luck” during season eight of CSI.

Retaliation takes a deadly turn when CSI: Miami rounds out the week with “Stoned Cold” on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

The CSIs try to figure out which nerd took revenge when a high school bully is stoned to death.

Allison Liddi directed three previous episodes, including last season’s “In the Wind”. Writer Tamara Jaron has eight credits for the series, most recently the season nine premiere, “Fallen”.

“Stoned Cold” will including the following guest stars:

Christian Clemenson and Wes Ramsey are reprising established recurring roles. Eric Lange has appeared on CSI (“Formalities”) and New York (“Jamalot”). Chris McGarry guest-starred in the CSI episode “Lost & Found” during season ten, and Susan Santiago was in two episodes of the flagship series: “Friends & Lovers” and “Sex, Lies and Larvae”.

“Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead”, “The Untouchable” and “Stoned Cold” begin airing February 24 on CBS.
