‘The Two Mrs Grissoms’ & ‘Party Down’ Official Details

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation makes it a family affair in “The Two Mrs Grissoms” on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT:
A night full of celebration ends with a bang when the director of a scholarship foundation for the deaf is killed by a deadly car bomb, prompting Sara to interrogate the students and faculty of the college where her mother-in-law works.
This is the first time Steven Felder has directed an episode of CSI. Treena Hancock and Melissa R Byer wrote “The Two Mrs Grissoms” based on a story by Christopher Barbour. Hancock and Byer have two previous writing credits, most recently for “Wild Life” earlier this season. Barbour has penned three episodes of the series, including this season’s “House of Hoarders”.

Archie Kao is reprising an established recurring role. Marlee Matlin appeared in the CSI: New York episode “Silent Night” during the show’s third season. The other actors are new to the franchise.
On Friday, CSI: New York will air “Party Down” an hour later, at 10:00pm ET/PT:
When a tractor-trailer carrying exclusive party guests mysteriously ends up at the bottom of the Hudson River, the CSIs must solve the mystery from the soggy remains.
Skip Sudduth directed two previous episodes of CSI: NY, including “Shop Till You Drop” from earlier this season. Writer Adam Targum also has two credits, most recently for “Shop Till You Drop”.

Deja Howell previously appeared in “All in the Family” during New York’s fourth season. Alexa Havins guest-starred in the CSI: Miami episode “Dude, Where’s My Groom?” during season eight. Toni Wynne appeared in three episodes of CSI (most recently “Working Stiffs”) and one episode of Miami (“Down to the Wire”). Paul Ben-Victor was in “Killer” during season six of CSI, and Carl Ciarfalio was in the season seven episode “Leapin’ Lizards”.
CSI: Miami will air a repeat of “Sleepless in Miami” on Sunday at 9:00pm ET/PT, followed by a repeat of Hawaii Five-0 in the series’ usual 10:00pm ET/PT timeslot. In “Sleepless in Miami”, Natalia went undercover to discover the truth after a man claimed that he dreamed about a murder before it happened.
“The Two Mrs Grissoms”, “Party Down” and the repeat of “Sleepless in Miami” begin airing February 3 on CBS.
