‘Miami’ Comes In A Distant Second Behind The Oscars
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: Miami, “Stoned Cold”, came up short against award show coverage on Sunday, February 27. The episode pulled in a series low 8.18 million viewers, which is no surprise considering the crime drama’s competition. The 83rd Annual Academy Awards had 30.23 million viewers during the 10:00pm hour. NBC aired a repeat of Minute to Win It, which rounded out the hour with 2.44 million viewers. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, the Oscars were first with a 9.9 rating/26 share, which put the awards show way ahead of Miami (2.0/5) and Minute (0.8/2).
