Eads Talks Bieber & What’s In Store For Him On ‘CSI’
2 min readGeorge Eads shares what’s coming up for his character Nick Stokes, what happens in Justin Bieber’s second episode and how he stays excited about working on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after more than a decade.
As CSI Files previously reported, Bieber will reprise his role as Jason McCann in this week’s episode, “Targets of Obsession”. It has already been revealed that things won’t end well for the young guest star’s character. “Well, he’s cast as this troubled teen, which is ironic, because it’s kind of the opposite of what everybody knows him as,” Eads told Digital Spy. “But he’s back, causing trouble, and we have a face-off. Unfortunately for him, I’m the series regular!”
Nick’s temper will be tested as season eleven continues, and he gets fed up with the way people treat him. “He’s pretty much going to get sick of people attacking him for just doing his job,” Eads explained. “Nick doesn’t get upset by this, he gets mad! It’s like, ‘How dare you attack me when I’m just doing my job, protecting people?!’.”
After more than a decade on the hit crime drama, Eads said he still enjoys doing his job. He gets to work with actors he looks up to, including costar Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston). The actor also gets to share his ideas with producers, and the fans’ excitement helps keep things fresh. “The show has such a loyal audience in the US, not to mention internationally,” Eads said. “We have a huge audience internationally. That support makes it easy to get up and go to work every morning!”
