‘Miami’ Wins Total Viewers, Takes Third In The Demo
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: Miami, “F-T-F”, shared the top spot on Sunday, January 9. In its temporary 8:00pm ET/PT timeslot, the series pulled in 11.49 million viewers in the first half hour, rising to 12.31 million in the second half—giving the show an overall viewership for the night of 11.90 million. This was enough to put it ahead of the average 11.30 million viewers earned by Fox for The Simpsons (12.65 million) and the series premiere of Bob’s Burgers (9.41 million). In third place for the hour was Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which pulled in 9.12 million viewers, followed by Dateline with 7.25 million. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Fox dominated the hour with an average 5.1 rating/13 share for Simpsons (5.7/14) and Bob’s Burgers (4.5/11). Extreme Makeover was second with 2.7/7, followed by Miami (2.5/6) and Dateline (1.5/4).
