3 min readThe franchise offers three brand new episodes this week featuring a deadly photograph, a killer clown and a strange double homicide. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts things out on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT with death imitating art in “Man Up”:
The CSIs question the validity of an online picture depicting a murdered call girl until they find the same woman strangled to death in the dumpster that appears in the photo.
The episode was directed by Alec Smight. Smight has 17 previous credits for the series, including “House of Hoarders” earlier this season. Michael F.X. Daley wrote “Lying Down With Dogs” during the show’s eighth season.

Blake Gibbons played different characters in two Miami episodes: “Dead Air” during the show’s fourth season, and season eight’s “Backfire”. The other actors are new to the franchise.
It’s no laughing matter when CSI: New York airs “To What End?” on Friday at 9:00pm ET/PT:
When a man in full clown costume shoots a bakery owner, the CSIs investigate and discover a decision from Flack’s past that may put him in jeopardy. David James Elliott (‘JAG’) guest stars as FBI Agent Russ Josephson, Jo’s ex-husband.
Eric Laneuville directed two previous episodes, most recently “Unfriendly Chat” earlier this season. Executive producer Pam Veasey co-wrote “To What End?” with co-executive producer Zachary Reiter. Veasey has 32 writing credits for the series, including the season seven premiere “The 34th Floor”. Reiter penned 21 previous episodes, most recently last season’s finale, “Vacation Getaway”.

JD Pardo was in the Miami episode “Silencer” during the show’s fourth season, and Chris Warren Gilbert appeared in “Delko for the Defense” during season eight.
CSI: Miami will air in its temporary 8:00pm ET/PT timeslot on Sunday, and the team is forced to deal with a lack of evidence in “F-T-F”:
When a fire hydrant washes away all of the evidence at a crime scene, the CSIs must recreate a very bizarre double murder.
Actor David Arquette directed the episode, which marks his first time working in the franchise. Melissa Scrivner wrote the episode based on a story by K. David Bena. Scrivner has four previous credits for the series, including this season’s “Reality Kills”. Bena co-wrote season eight’s “Meltdown”.
