Zuiker Develops 4 TV Projects
1 min readCSI creator Anthony Zuiker is working to bring four new drama series to network TV.
CSI Files previously reported that Zuiker and his production company Dare To Pass are developing three drama series for CBS: Desperado, which centers around cowboy-style justice in modern-day San Antonio, Texas; an offshoot of Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne series called Treadstone; and a bodyguard series based on the life of Kim-Maree Penn called Detail. Zuiker is also developing a series for the CW network called Spirits. The procedural drama is written by Jesse Alexander (Lost) and centers around three women who solve paranormal mysteries.
In addition to these series, Zuiker has other projects in internal development: Cyber Crimes was purchased by CBS last season, but the series didn’t get picked up; Enigma is a modern-day Sherlock Holmes series from British writer Ed Whitmore; Rift is a cop show with a time-travelling twist; and The Seekers is a series with a CSI vibe that is targeted toward younger viewers on a network such as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. Zuiker is also working to adapt his Level 26 digi-novel series for cable.
