‘CSI’ Wins Total Viewers, Ratings Drop Again
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “Fracked”, came first in total viewers on Thursday, October 11 with 12.92 million people tuning in. This was enough to beat the competition, but it marks the second-lowest showing for the series so far this season (“Blood Moon” was lowest with 12.29 million), and it was down nearly a million viewers from last week. Rounding out the hour this week were Grey’s Anatomy (11.07 million), NBC’s combination of The Office (7.70 million) and Outsourced (6.05 million), Fringe on Fox (4.83 million) and Nikita (2.33 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Grey’s took the top spot with a 4.0 rating/10 share, followed by NBC’s average of 3.3/9, CSI with 2.8/7, Fringe (1.9/5) and Nikita (0.9/2).
