The ‘Miami’ Premiere Takes Second Behind Football

CSI: Miami kicked off its ninth season on Sunday, October 3 with a second place finish in its new timeslot. “Fallen” pulled in 11.84 million viewers and a 3.2 rating/8 share in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers. This put it considerably behind the 10:00pm portion of Sunday Night Football on NBC, which had 17.01 million viewers and 6.9/18 in the demo. ABC’s Brothers & Sisters was third for the hour with 9.27 million viewers and 3.0/8 among adults 18-49.
