Sackhoff: She’s Kind Of A Badass

As CSI Files previously reported, Katee Sackhoff will appear as a new detective in at least one upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Sackhoff enjoyed working on the show, but it’s too soon to say whether or not she’ll stick around. (Minor spoilers after the jump!)

Sackhoff’s character, Detective Frankie Reed, comes in to help the team after a college student is killed. “She’s kind of a badass,” Sackhoff told TV Guide Magazine. “One of my favorite scenes is when she says she’s been working on her sensitivity, and a second later, she kicks down a door.”

The role could become recurring, but Sackhoff isn’t sure yet. “I think everyone’s hope is that’s what it’s going to turn into, but right now, we’re trying to figure out where I fit,” Sackhoff revealed. “I like it, and I’ve always said, as long as the stories are fresh and fun, and I get to go to work every day and do what I love to do, I’m happy.”
