Mac Faces ‘Worthy Adversaries’ In Season 7

The upcoming seventh season of CSI: New York promises to be a challenge for leading man Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), who will find himself dealing with multiple opponents. (Minor spoilers after the jump!)

As CSI Files previously reported, John Larroquette will guest star as Deputy Chief of Manhattan Borough Detectives Ted Carver in multiple episodes starting November 5. Mac and Carver will butt heads as the city deals with a sniper. Prior to Larroquette’s involvement, Mac will face off against a former gang leader portrayed by Edward James Olmos. As executive producer Pam Veasey explained to Fancast, “Mac’s going through the worthy adversary phase of his career, where he goes toe-to-toe with higher-ups, formidable criminals, or people who test his judgment.”
