Bieber Falls In With The Wrong Crowd On ‘CSI’
1 min readTeen singing sensation Justin Bieber wanted to ‘step out of his shell’ on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. (Spoilers after the jump!)
When Bieber got the chance to guest star in the season eleven premiere of CSI, “Shock Waves”, he wanted to try something different. “I was like, ‘I want to play a bad character,'” Bieber explained to Entertainment Tonight. “I’m a nice guy. I’m a good guy. I wanted to play the opposite character.”
The singer-turned-actor added that it was “fun” to play Jason McCann. “I think it’s good to play different roles and get comfortable stepping out of your shell,” he said. He enjoyed the guest-starring on the show. “I really like it,” Bieber revealed. “It’s been a lot of fun. I’d like to get more into acting.”
“I’m just trying to get into character, trying to really feel what Jason is feeling, so it’s kind of cool,” Bieber continued. “I haven’t really done this a lot, but I’m trying to get the hang of it.” The character and his brother were raised to hate the government. “I get caught up in the wrong stuff,” Bieber said. “Me and him are bombing police officers. It’s pretty crazy stuff.”
You can watch the video, which features clips from “Shock Waves”, on ET Online. CSI premieres this Thursday, September 23 at 9:00pm ET/PT.
