Zuiker Returns To ‘CSI’ & Aims To Draw In Viewers

1 min read

CSI creator Anthony Zuiker has returned to the writers room for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s eleventh season, and he has a lot in store for the fans. (Spoilers after the jump!)

Zuiker and the rest of the writing team planned some exciting episodes to start the season. For one storyline, “We have a shark in the pool; kind of like day clubs gone wild,” Zuiker told New York Magazine. The series will also include an episode with a vampire and werewolf convention to take advantage of the current popularity of mythical bloodsuckers. As CSI Files previously reported, the character of black Sqweegel from Zuiker’s digi-novel Level 26: Dark Origins will appear in a “scary as hell episode starring Ann-Margret” that airs on October 14.

CSI will try luring in even more viewers with the appearance of teen singing sensation Justin Bieber in the season eleven premiere. The 16-year-old had a “very memorable” visit to the set. “We ate cake, skateboarded, sang, and had a few laughs,” Zuiker said. “He did a really good job.” The man behind CSI added, “I think all of his fans are going to follow him to CSI and stay for the whole season.”
