Mendelsohn: The Characters Will Be Recovering

Showrunner Carol Mendelsohn offered a hint of what’s to come in the wake of Dr Ray Langston’s (Laurence Fishburne) attack in the season ten finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Spoilers after the jump!

Langston will pull through, but Mendelsohn told TVGuide.com that he “lost something in the attack.” As season eleven gets underway, Langston won’t be the only one dealing with the aftermath of “Meat Jekyll”. “All of our characters will be recovering from the events of the finale,” Mendelsohn explained. She also revealed that Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin) will stand trial in Las Vegas. “Our current plan is to have Nate Haskell defend himself,” she said, adding that “anything goes—including putting Langston on the stand!”
