Go Behind The Scenes Of The ‘New York’ Finale
1 min readCSI: New York stars Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera) and Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) offer a glimpse at what’s coming in tonight’s season six finale, “Vacation Getaway”. Spoilers and embedded video after the jump!
The finale revolves around serial killer Shane Casey (Edward Furlong), who appeared during the third season of New York and made his dramatic return earlier this season. He escaped from prison in “Redemptio”, and now the CSIs are on his trail. “He loves to play riddles and games … much to the dismay of Stella and the team. It’s frustrating as hell,” Kanakaredes told Entertainment Tonight.
“He was the kind of bad guy that liked to keep a lot of clues around,” Sinise added. “He’s leaving puzzles for us to try to solve. Part of his sickness is killing people and leaving clues.” Some of those clues show up in a bar, and Mac and Stella follow him there. But is that the end of their search to bring Shane Casey to justice? Kanakaredes teased, “We think it’s the ultimate showdown in the end.”
