Shankar Leaves ‘CSI’

According to Deadline Hollywood, executive producer Naren Shankar will step down as co-showrunner of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after eight years with the series, using his last year under contract with CBS Studios to focus on development for the company. Carol Mendelsohn, who has been Shankar’s co-showrunner for the past five seasons, will stay on as executive producer.
