2009 Ends On A High Note For ‘CSI’

CSI won its timeslot on Thursday, December 17 with 15.54 million overall viewers and a 3.5 rating/10 share in the key 18-49 demographic. NBC was second for the night with Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas, which pulled in 7.68 million viewers and 3.2/9 in the 9:00pm hour. ABC aired two repeats of Grey’s Anatomy from 8:00-10:00pm, earning an average of 3.97 million viewers 1.1/3 among adults 18-49. A repeat of Fringe on Fox was fourth with 3.93 million viewers, although its 18-49 score (1.2/4) tied it for third place in the demo during the 9:00pm hour. The CW aired two repeats of Vampire Diaries from 8:00-10:00pm, pulling in an average of 1.87 million viewers 0.8/2.
