‘In Plane Sight’, ‘Dead Reckoning’ & ‘Coup De Grace’ Official Details

The new season continues with three more fresh episodes offering hidden treasure, a false confession and a slain officer. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami goes on a treasure hunt in “In Plane Sight”:

When the most hated man in Miami is murdered, the CSIs go on the hunt for his killer and his hidden treasure.

The episode was directed by Larry Detwiler, who has one previous credit for “Presumed Guilty”. This is Robert Hornak‘s first time penning an episode of Miami.

Omar Benson Miller and Christian Clemenson are reprising recurring roles after first appearing in “Bolt Action”. Brooke Burke is listed in the original press release as the actress portraying Cynthia Wells, but the role was played in the past by Brooke Bloom (who was last seen in the season five episode “Triple Threat”). Patrick Kilpatrick was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Big Middle”, Khalil Kain was in “Fight Night”, Lombardo Boyar appeared in “All for Our Country”, Tripp Law was in “Inside the Box” and Andy Buckley appeared in two episodes of the flagship series (“Who Are You?” and “King Baby”). Chase Kim guest-starred in the CSI: New York episode “Can You Hear Me Now?” during the show’s fourth season, and Eddie Driscoll appeared in “The Thing About Heroes”.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, the CSI: New York team must uncover the truth in “Dead Reckoning”:

Incriminating DNA evidence contradicts the confession of a scorned woman claiming to have brutally murdered her cheating husband.

This is the first time Scott White has directed an episode of New York. John Dove has eight writing credits for the show, including the season five finale “Pay Up”.

“Dead Reckoning” features the following guest stars:

Sarah Carter is reprising an established recurring role in the lab, and Mykelti Williamson is back as Brigham Sinclair, who was last seen in “Sex, Lies and Silicone”. The other actors are new to the franchise.

Rounding out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation looks into the death of an officer in “Coup de Grace”:

When a policeman kills another officer, the CSIs must look to the evidence to determine if the shooting was premeditated or an accident.

This is the fourth time Paris Barclay has directed an episode of the show. His latest credit is for the season nine finale, “All In”. David Rambo and Richard Catalani wrote the story for “Coup de Grace”, and Rambo penned the teleplay. Rambo has 17 previous episodes under his belt, including “Hog Heaven”. Catalani also has 17 writing credits, including “All In”.

Marc Vann is reprising an established recurring role, and Larry Mitchell and Joseph Patrick Kelly are back as Officer Mitchell and Officer Metcalf. This is Enrique Murciano’s first appearance on CSI, but he was a series regular on the cancelled CBS show Without a Trace. Adina Porter guest-starred in the New York episode “On the Job”. Andres Saenz-Hudson appeared in two episodes of Miami, “No Man’s Land” and “Man Down”.

“In Plane Sight”, “Dead Reckoning” and “Coup de Grace” begin airing October 12 on CBS.
