1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s latest episode, “Bloodsport”, came up short against World Series competition on Thursday, October 29. Ratings were only down slightly from the last new episode, but these scores were not enough to beat Game 2 of the World Series. Game 2 had 17.09 million viewers in the 9:00pm hour, putting it ahead of CSI (14.94 million), Grey’s Anatomy (13.42 million), NBC’s combination of The Office (8.14 million) and 30 Rock (6.01 million), and Supernatural on the CW (2.88 million). In the key 18-49 demographic, CSI (3.4 rating/8 share) was fourth behind Game 2 (5.3/13), Grey’s (5.1/12) and the 3.6/9 average NBC earned for the combo of Office (4.2/10) and Rock (3.0/7). Supernatural was fifth with 1.3/3.
