‘Bad Seed’ & ‘Battle Scars’ Official Details

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami gets help from an old friend during a time of crisis in “Bad Seed”:
Alexx Woods and Eric Delko return to help the CSIs stop a deadly outbreak in Miami.
Matt Earl Beesley has directed nine previous episodes of Miami, including “Dissolved” during season seven. This is the fifteenth time Brian Davidson has written an episode of the show. His most recent credit is for last season’s “Chip/Tuck”.
“Bad Seed” will feature the following actors in recurring and guest-starring roles:

Khandi Alexander and Omar Miller are reprising established roles. Charles Parnell previously appeared in the season seven episode “Gone Baby Gone”. Steven Culp was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Dead Ringer” during the show’s fourth season, Jack Conley appeared in the season four episode “Coming of Rage”, Sandra Purpuro guest-starred in “Last Laugh” during season three and Caroline Aaron was in “19 Down” last season. Ajay Mehta guest-starred in the CSI: New York pilot, “Blink”.
On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, the CSI: New York team has a long list of suspects in “Battle Scars”:
When an unidentified shooting victim turns out to be a rising star in the underground world of hip-hop dance battles, the CSIs turn their attention to a long list of rival dancers.
This is the third time Jeff T Thomas has directed an episode of New York. His most recent credit was for last season’s “The Triangle”. Bill Haynes has seven writing credits under his belt for the series, including “Point of No Return” from season five.

Vincent Laresca has previously appeared on both Miami (“Rio”) and CSI (“Lying Down With Dogs”). The other actors are new to the franchise.
Rounding out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air the franchise’s first repeat of the season. “19 Down” introduced new leading man Laurence Fishburne as Dr Ray Langston. The team discovered a connection between a murder victim and a serial killer in jail, so Gil Grissom (William Petersen) secretly joined Langston’s lecture to gain access to the serial killer.
“Bad Seed”, “Battle Scars” and the repeat of “19 Down” begin airing October 19 on CBS.
