‘CSI’ Finishes Second On Premiere Night
1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation kicked off its tenth season with “Family Affair” Thursday, September 24 in the 9:00pm hour. The episode came in second during a busy hour of television. CSI had 15.38 million viewers, rising to 16.05 million at the half-hour. This put it in second place behind ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, which pulled in 17.06 million viewers for the hour. In the important 18-49 demographic, Grey’s came out on top with a 6.4 rating/16 share, rising to 6.8/17 at 9:30. CSI was next in the demo with 4.1/10. NBC’s combination of The Office (7.33 million, 3.8/10) and the new series Community (5.36 million, 2.8/ 7) came in third, Fringe (5.85 million, 2.2/6) was fourth, and Supernatural rounded out the hour with 2.62 million viewers and 1.2/3 among adults 18-49.
