CSI: Miami will take a break from first-run episodes this week, but CBS plans to air all-new episodes of CSI: New York and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
At 10:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, the network has scheduled a repeat of CSI: Miami's third-season premiere, "Lost Son". The episode, which centres around a kidnapped boy, marks the final appearance of series regular Rory Cochrane (Tim Speedle).
CSI: New York's "A Man A Mile" will air at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3. Written by executive producer Andrew Lipsitz, the episode was actually the second regular New York episode to be filmed, but was held back to be aired later in the season. Emmy-nominated director David Grossman ("Forever") helmed the episode. The below official synopsis comes courtesy of the Futon Critic:
While investigating the death of Pete Riggs, the CSIs meet the "Sandhogs," a union of construction workers who build the city's underground tunnels. When Mac and Danny find an empty inhaler at the excavation site and the autopsy results reveal that Riggs died from asthmatic asphyxiation before the explosion, the team realizes that the victim was intentionally left underground. Meanwhile, Stella and Aiden examine the death of a 16-year-old who was found strangled and floating in a creek.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation kicks off the November sweeps ratings period when the team revisits the case of the blue paint serial killer from season three at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4. Here's how CSB describes the episode, entitled "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?":
As the CSI team investigates the multiple murders on the WLVU college campus, they realize that the murders took place on the two-year anniversary of the execution of John Mathers, a man found guilty of murdering a woman in the same manner as these new victims at this college campus. The main clue tying four murders together is the blue paint found on all the victims' hands. The killer fooled the CSI team two years ago, when another murder took place the night of John Mathers' execution, and Grissom and team are determined to not let that happen again.
The episode was directed by CSI producer Ken Fink, who also helmed the original blue paint serial killer outing, "The Execution of Catherine Willows. Story editor Sarah Goldfinger ("Got Murder?") penned the episode.
