Official 'Ambush', 'All In', 'DOA For A Day' & 'Grissom's Divine Comedy' Details

They're back!

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: Miami airs the first part of a two-night event with "Ambush":

In part one of the two-part episode, Horatio's past comes back to haunt him when Julia (guest star Elizabeth Berkley) has him arrested for murder.

This is Sam Hill's twelfth time directing Miami. His previous credits include "Miami Confidential" from earlier this season. Corey Evett and Matt Partney have been a writing team on three previous episodes of CSI: Miami, the latest being "Chain Reaction".

The following actors and actresses will guest-star in "Ambush":

Boti Bliss, David Lee Smith and Sofia Milos are reprising established recurring roles. Lisa Sheridan, Elizabeth Berkley and Anna Rose Hopkins appeared in "Raising Caine" earlier this season. Brendan Fehr is returning as Dan Cooper, who was last seen in "Bang, Bang, Your Debt" at the beginning of the season. Giancarlo Esposito was in the episode "Rio" during season 5, and he is returning as Chief Braga in "Ambush". Chase Ryan Jeffery was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Gum Drops" during the show's sixth season. Greg Collins played Officer Arvington in four episodes during CSI's first season, including "Face Lift". Kim Coates has appeared on both CSI ("Early Rollout") and CSI: New York ("Hush").

The Miami two-part event continues on a special night, Tuesday at 10:00pm EST. "All In" finds two of the CSIs in danger:

In part two of the two-part episode, as Horatio deals with his past, the team races against time to save Calleigh from kidnappers.

Joe Chappelle has directed 18 previous episodes of Miami, the latest being "Stand Your Ground" from earlier this season. The most recent of Krystal Houghton's ten writing credits for Miami is "CSI: My Nanny".

At this time, there is no cast list for "All In". The information will be added to the episode guide if and when it is provided by CBS.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: New York returns with its first new post-strike episode. "DOA For A Day" concludes the story started earlier this season in "Down the Rabbit Hole":

Working with an anonymous tip, the CSIs travel to an abandoned warehouse and back into the virtual world where they hope to find one of the city's most-wanted criminals.

Christine Moore has directed four other episodes of New York, including the last pre-strike episode, "Playing With Matches". This is John Dove's fourth time writing for CSI: NY. His most recent episode prior to "DOA For A Day" was "Commuted Sentences". Peter Lenkov has written eleven previous episodes of the show, including "Boo" and "Down the Rabbit Hole".

"DOA For A Day" stars the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • Kam Heskin as Suspect X

Robert Joy and Emmanuelle Vaugier are reprising established recurring characters. Kam Heskin is returning to her role as Suspect X, first seen in "Down the Rabbit Hole". Jessalyn Gilsig is making her first appearance in a possible recurring role.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation returns this week as well, airing "Grissom's Divine Comedy" on Thursday at 9:00pm EST. The episode finds the team under the weather:

Grissom and his team battle the flu when they are called upon by DDA Klein (Bedelia) to investigate the deaths of several key witnesses for a grand jury case against a dangerous Las Vegas gang.

"Grissom's Divine Comedy" marks Richard J. Lewis's fortieth turn in the director's chair for CSI. His most recent episode was "Bull", the last pre-strike episode to air. The teleplay of this week's episode was written by Jacqueline Hoyt, who has five writing credits for the show, including "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp". The teleplay is based on a story that Hoyt co-wrote with Carol Mendelsohn, whose impressive list of writing credits includes 42 previous episodes of CSI, the latest being "Who and What".

David Berman and Archie Kao are reprising established recurring roles. Larry Mitchell has appeared in 24 previous episode of CSI as Officer Mitchell. Jack McGee was in "Abra Cadaver" during CSI's third season, playing a road manager. Van Epperson guest-starred in the CSI: Miami episode "Double Jeopardy". Robert LaSardo appeared in two episodes of Miami during the show's fourth season: "Rampage" and "One of Our Own". Kim Delgado played the security guard in the CSI/CSI: Miami episode "Cross-Jurisdictions".

"Ambush", "All In", "DOA For A Day" and "Grissom's Divine Comedy" begin airing March 31 on CBS.
