Hello World!
Greetings folks...
I'm Michelle, whom some of you may know already from Trek Nation, where I review Enterprise episodes and occasional Star Trek books. I worked as an interviewer and reviewer for several years for Mania at AnotherUniverse.com and later Fandom.com, so some of you might know me from there, too.
I'm a news writer who's only just been introduced to CSI, so you'll have to bear with me while I learn the names of the characters and such. Caillan described the show to me as sort of like X-Files without the supernatural element, which sounded very promising as I was a huge Scully fan for many years.
I am infamous on the Trek BBS for my loudmouthed feminism and my unwavering belief that Deep Space Nine was the best of the Trek shows. These days I think The Dead Zone is the best thing on television but it's not available in many parts of the world; Smallville is my Tuesday night guilty pleasure, and The West Wing is usually on in the background when I'm reviewing Enterprise on Wednesdays. For the past year I've been obsessively in love with The Lord of the Rings.
In other areas of my life, I write folklore and fiction reviews for The Green Man Review, I've had poetry published here and there and I have two sons who are approaching the target demographic age for most action shows. If you're looking for more information, you can find it on my web site at The Little Review.

Tonight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, CBS will show "Double Cap" on CSI Miami. Here's the official synopsis of the episode:
Horatio battles the FBI and U.S. Marshals in this well- crafted episode as he tries to uncover why a beautiful woman was murdered poolside at a ritzy hotel. His investigation begins shortly after the bikini-clad 27-year-old is found dead from two shots to the head. Evidence suggests it was a professional hit, which is strange enough. But the case becomes really puzzling when the Feds take an interest and U.S. Marshals show up. Plus, the murder weapon may be linked to a cold case once investigated by Horatio's sister-in-law (Sofia Milos). Elsewhere, Calleigh confronts her dad about his drinking problem after she's called away from work to drag him out of a bar.
On TNN at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time tonight, you can catch a rerun of the CSI episode Alter Boys":
Grissom and his team investigate a murder suspect who is caught red-handed -- burying the victims -- while Catherine and Warrick take on the case of a woman found dead in a hotel spa. As Grissom, Nick and Sara investigate the seemingly clear-cut murder case, Grissom questions the simplicity of the evidence when he discovers that the suspect burying the victims is the brother of a convicted felon. Meanwhile, Catherine and Warrick must determine if the woman found dead in the hotel spa was the victim of negligence, foul play or heat-induced natural causes."
Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the CSI episode "Precious Metal" will air. The official synopsis states:
A badly decomposed body is discovered in a beat-up chemical- waste drum in the desert. The investigation soon leads Catherine into the world of robotic demolition derbies in which custom-designed robots bash each other in combat-like competitions. Meanwhile, Grissom probes the death of a newly married man whose body is found in an alley.
