'Miami' Cast Turn Up The Heat On 'Early Show'

The CBS Early Show caught up with the CSI: Miami cast members yesterday to find out what it's like to work on such a "hot" television series.
Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) told reporter Rene Syler she was shocked by the heat when she returned from hiatus to film season two in Florida, according to a report at CBS News. "I realised that if North Carolina is a B plus on the scale for humidity and temperature, then Miami is like an A plus, plus extra credit because it's just hot."
One cast member who didn't need to acclimatise was David Caruso (Horatio Caine). "I am a Florida resident, so I don't mind the heat. I'd rather be here than in the cold."
In keeping with the "hot" theme for the segment, the Early Show also caught up with Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) to ask him about life as "one of TV's hottest leading men". "Every time I hear somebody say it, I actually feel kind of silly," Rodriguez said. "Not a bad thing to be."
There may even be a romance sizzling between two characters this season. Sofia Milos, who plays Detective Yelina Salas, said the relationship between her character and Horatio Caine will be heating up over the course of the year. "I think that's definitely what the audience is inviting us to do more of. And that's the idea. We're definitely going in that direction."
