Kim Coates, who appeared in the CSI: New York episode "Hush" and had a recurring role as Ron Saris on Miami, will be honored with the Half Lifetime Achievement Award at the Action on Film Festival in Pasadena, California this Thursday night. The actor said he plans to enjoy the black tie event. "They're going to show three or four minutes of clips from my movies -- I have no idea what they're showing," Coates told The StarPhoenix. "Ron Perlman from Sons of Anarchy, my good buddy, is going to introduce me and cut me down. I'll toss him a $20 bill when he's done. I don't know what I'm going to say yet but I won't be long, I promised them."
New York star Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) will narrate the 10-part series WWII in HD that will air on the History Channel in the latter part of 2009. The series will chronicle the experiences of 12 Americans who fought in the war. Well-known actors will voice each of these soldiers. (Source)
