Hello World!

Lots of things in this world make me happy. The smell of Clorox, snotty British children, penguins, the Foot Network...

...and the love that dare not speak its name between an emotionally withdrawn crime scene investigator and a dominatrix with a heart of gold.

Yes, Lady Heather is coming back to CSI! I don't need to put a spoiler warning, unless you've been living under a rock, you know this already. Next week, we get to see Grissom and Lady Heather reunite. This relationship is so beyond wicked I don't know what to do with myself. It's genius! Who would've thought that Grissom would find his match in a dominatrix? The man is like a sexual camel. And Lady Heather is so the woman I want to be when I grow up it's insane. They're two of television's best characters on their own, combined, they totally beat Mulder and Scully as television's One True Pair. They're like a monster OTP. I know I'm like a total fangirl here, but I can't help it. I love Lady Heather more than I totally should, seeing as she's, you know, fake and all. And at the risk of getting hate mail, I've never really been a fan of Grissom, but the man is so my man when he's with his lady. Whoever came up with this storyline needs to have my babies, like, now.

Pictures of the episode are starting to get leaked out and meeeeeep, people! That's all I'm gonna say. Meeeeeep.

CSI Files Two Years Ago

Here's what was happening in the fandom two years ago:

  • 'CSI,' Petersen Compete For Golden Globes Tonight
CSI and William Petersen (Gil Grissom) were honored at the Golden Globes with the Best Drama and Best Actor nominations.

  • Petersen Not Thrilled About Another 'CSI' Spinoff
No one was more upset about the creation of CSI: New York than William Petersen (Gil Grissom) who said, "The reality thing is getting tired now, because it's rubber-stamped out. They're all the same show, just set in a different place."

  • 'Idol' Steals Top Spot From 'Miami'
CSI: Miami's episode "Blood Moon" won its timeslot, but it came in slightly behind Fox's reality show American Idol for the evening.

  • 'Suckers' Is Thursday Night Champ
CSI faced off against a "supersized" hour and fifteen minute episode of The Apprentice and still came out on top, both for the hour and the evening on the first night of February sweeps.

This Week On TV

  • Tonight at 10:00pm, CSI: Miami's "Fade Out" will air on CBS. Here's how the network described it:

"The CSIs must investigate when a series of murders have an eerie similarity to an unproduced screenplay. Evidence shows that a series of murders at Miami's hottest clubs are linked to organized crime, but also leads Horatio and the team to a pair of Miami film students whose screenplay mirrors the details of the crimes. Now, the CSIs must track down anyone who had read their fictional script and wanted to turn it into a deadly reality. Meanwhile, Ryan's eyesight worsens and jeopardizes his future with the crime lab."

  • On Wednesday night at 10pm, CBS will air the new CSI: New York episode "Stuck On You." Here's a brief synopsis:

"Mac, Det. Flack and Dr. Hawkes investigate the death of a model and an injured 20-something billionaire who were both speared by an arrow while hooking up at his party. Stella, who was attending the event as a guest, joins the investigation as the team works to discover who was the intended target--the playboy who is notorious for his conquests, or the model he had just met. Meanwhile, Danny and Lindsay question a multitude of suspects when a music promoter is found dead, coated with glue and covered in the billboard posters of the band he was trying to break out."

  • And on Thursday at 9:00pm, the CSI episode "Killer" will air. This is what you can expect from it:

"In a CSI first, a crime will be shown from the killer's perspective. The CSIs investigate two deaths, both linked to the same suspect. As the evidence starts to overlap, the CSI team begins to move in on the murderer."

In addition to the above episodes on CBS, cable channel SpikeTV will of course continue its daily CSI repeats.
