Tonight would not be a good time for CSI: Miami fans to leave their living rooms, according to television reviewers.
TV Guide placed "After The Fall" on its Monday night "Hot List" of must-watch televison programs. Written by Ildy Modrovich and Marc Dube, the episode, which revolves around the death of a pedestrian who is killed by a man falling from a nearby apartment building, also boasts some fireworks in the ongoing Horatio-Yelina-Stetler love triangle.
"The volatile relationship between Horatio and abusive Internal Affairs officer Stetler, who is dating H's widowed sister-in-law and colleague, Yelina, intensifies considerably in tonight's heated episode," wrote TV Guide's Tim Holland. "It begins when Horatio is accused of brutality by a murder suspect and Stetler investigates the case — with extreme prejudice."
Miami also made the "What to watch" list of USA Today's Robert Bianco, who recently praised both the show and its star David Caruso (Horatio Caine) (story). The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also highlighted the episode, making the following succinct observation: "So you're walking down the street and splat - a body falls, killing you. That happens tonight on CSI: Miami."
"After The Fall" airs tonight at 10:00 p.m. on CBS.
