The CSI franchise had to compete with baseball last week.
On Monday night, CSI: Miami was the only member of the franchise not to compete with the World Series. Miami had the highest numbers in the 10:00pm timeslot with 15.5 viewers overall and a 4.5 rating/11 share in the vital 18-49 demographic.
CSI: New York took second place to game one of the World Series on Wednesday. New York got 13.64 million viewers overall and a 3.8/10 in 18-49. Once again, New York's lead-in, Criminal Minds, did better in overall viewers with 14.93 million. The score in 18-49 was closer to CSI: NY than in previous weeks, with CM getting 3.9/9 in the important demographic.
On Thursday, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation aired a repeat and ended up in third place in the 9:00pm timeslot against game two of the World Series and Grey's Anatomy with 14.8 million viewers. CSI was unusually low in the 18-49 demographic due to the repeat with a score of 3.8/12, putting it in fourth place. Its main competitor, Grey's, fared far better with 7.4/15.
