CSI: New York's Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) was among the celebrities taking to the field in the Los Angeles Dodgers' annual Hollywood Stars Game on August 7.
Dr. Gregory Schmunk, a technical consultant on CSI, has been appointed Polk County's new medical examiner, TheIowaChannel reported.
Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) has been named one of the faces to watch this fall season by the New York Daily News. "Full-time series television is new to Sinise, whose TV credits include an Emmy for George Wallace and a list of high-profile titles such as Truman," That Championship Season," and My Name is Bill W."
Recent updates at the William Petersen Appreciation Page include video clips from the actor's interviews at the Torch of Liberty Awards and the UK's Living TV.
The Seattle Times has posted a preview of the 2004-2005 TV season's freshman offerings. Here's what the paper had to say about CSI: New York:
Not to go all Zen, but it is what it is. Except instead of looking dark like "CSI" or pastel like "CSI: Miami," it's blue � as in NYPD. In the ceremonial handoff pilot where David Caruso meets Gary Sinise, Sinise fits the part and the crime gets solved. Whether this'll tear a chunk out of loyal "Law & Order" viewers is a bigger question.
