Helgenberger Hopes To See Hubby On 'CSI' Again

Last week, Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) visited the Early Show, where she announced there's a possibility her husband will guest star on CSI again.

Alan Rosenberg played public defender Adam Novak in the episode "Weeping Willows," in which he was suspected of murder after a rough and brief flirtation with Catherine Willows. Helgenberger liked the dynamic between the two characters. "It was really a very interesting relationship."

The actress also wants to see Catherine meet again with her estranged father Sam Braun, who was last seen in "Grave Danger." The two have had a complex relationship since he was revealed to be her biological father. "I hope that my father, played by Scott Wilson, returns, cause he’s a casino mogul."

"I love all the stuff that we shoot in Vegas," the actress continued, "cause my character Catherine is a Vegas girl, born and raised, her mother was a show-girl, so she's at that world unlike all the other team members, who are all over the country. It's just fun shooting there."

Helgenberger also visited Live With Regis and Kelly to talk about the new season of the show. The actress joked that while she loves the gruesome plots, she'd hate to be in the writers' shoes. "I'd hate to be living with those ideas in my brain."
