The Kentucky Derby reports that Jeff Foxworthy will parody the CSI shows in a skit called "CSI: Idaho" in his new WB show Blue Collar TV, which debuts at 8pm Eastern time this Thursday.
Lancaster Online has an article entitled "CSI: Crime Scene Imagination?" which features interviews with police officers who debunk the ideas of instant DNA evidence processing and the ease of obtaining fingerprint evidence as seen on the CSI shows.
MediaWeekUK noted that last week's installment of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation drew 2.9 million viewers and earned an 11.4% share.
Journal Now also has an article about CSI's science, this one noting how the show's popularity has increased interest in forensic science in college and graduate programs.
AdWeek has an article about analyzing the political leanings of television viewers. The article notes that CSI: Miami tends to attract undecided voters. The drama also draws a high percentage of Hispanic viewers.
