  • The weekend edition of Entertainment Tonight featured a five-minute segment looking back at the early careers of most of the CSI actors, featuring vintage interviews from the 1980s and 1990s.

  • Bigha, the manufacturer of green lasers such as the one seen in CSI: Miami's "Money Plane," is not very happy its product is portrayed as a "death ray." "Some people cannot separate fact from fiction," director of marketing Noah Acres says in a Bigha press release. Thanks Elyse!

  • The official web site of Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band has been updated with several upcoming gigs: in mid-May, they will be touring past European army bases, on the 29th of May they'll play a Memorial Day concert in Washington, D.C., that will be televised on PBS, and on the 11th of June they'll play at a benefit show at the Park West to raise money for the Pentagon Memorial Fund.

  • MargHelgenberger.net has been updated with a list of video clips of several talk show appearanes by Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) over the past few years, and of some of her previous film roles.

  • CBS's recap of "The Dove Commission" is available on the official CSI: New York web site.

  • According to MSNBC, fans of the CSI shows don't get as annoyed by reruns as fans of shows such as Lost or Desperate Housewives do, as CSI doesn't have one big continuing storyline.

  • The Tactical Aerospace Group has issued a press release touting how its UAV helicopter was used in last Wednesday's CSI: New York.

  • Zap2It is giving away a copy of the new Apollo 13 DVD, which features Gary Sinise.

  • Elyse notes that Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) will be one of several celebrities attending the premiere of Sahara, a new movie starring Matthew McConaughey. The premiere is taking place on the 4th of April at Grauman's Chinese Theater.

  • Manhunter, the early Hannibal Lecter film starring William Petersen (Gil Grissom), will be shown as part of a tribute to director Michael Mann at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune.

  • Ambroisa Kelly, a child actor who appeared in the first-season CSI: Miami episode "Broken," is helping raise awareness for Kids Ranch, a non-profit summer camp for children with autism. More info can be found at Action 10 News.

  • More kids being inspired by CSI: this time it's students at the Havana High School in Pekin, Illinois, profiled in the Pekin Times.
