CSI: Crime Scene Investigation won pride of place for CBS last night during the most-watched hour of television for the week among total viewers on all networks.

According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Getting Off" earned a 19.8 rating/27 share in the overnights. This means that last night, approximately 19.8% of households in overnight markets were tuned to CBS, and 27% of households watching television at the time had CSI onscreen.

This rating is down marginally from 20.9 last week, facing increased competition from NBC's The Apprentice which earned a 13.4/18 and was only one tenth of a point off from CSI in the adults 18-49 bracket.

In the fast affiliate numbers gauging total viewers, CBS was estimated to have 22.32 million, while NBC was estimated to have 20.84 million. Those two networks dominated the ratings, with only Super Millionaire, up 48 percent on the night for ABC, earning kudos from Programming Insider Marc Berman among the night's offerings on other networks.

The complete overnight ratings are available here.

A reminder: In a divergence from typical Friday night scheduling, CBS will show a rerun tonight of the CSI: Miami episode "Complications".
