While the two spinoffs did better than their previous episodes, the original CSI fell victim to Thanksgiving.

According to "Fast Nationals" for Monday, CSI: Miami won it's timeslot with 16.12 million viewers at 10:00pm, moving to 16.32 million at 10:30pm. In the key 18-49 demographic, Miami also beat the competition with a 4.8 rating/12 share at 10:00pm and 5.0/13 at 10:30pm. The runner-up in the timeslot was ABC's finale of The Bachelor, which pulled in 11.45 million at 10:00pm, rising to 11.77 million at the half-hour, and pulled in 4.1/10 and 4.5/11 in the 18-49 demographic.

CSI: New York continues to win it's 10:00pm timeslot on Wednesday. The show pulled in 14.49 million viewers, which is up more than a million from the previous episode. At the half-hour, however, the numbers went down to 14.23 million as NBC's Deal or No Deal two-hour special gained in it's last half-hour. New York's score of 3.7/11 in the 18-49 demographic at 10:00pm was comparable to the previous week, and it earned the show the top spot in the demo for the first half-hour. At 10:30pm, however, Deal or No Deal pulled ahead in the vital age range, earning 3.9/11 to CSI: NY's 3.6/11.

On Thursday, the Thanksgiving holiday put a damper on the ratings for shows across the board. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation pulled in 14.96 million viewers at 9:00pm, going down to 14.27 million at the half-hour. Despite being down nearly seven million viewers from last week, CSI won the timeslot in overall viewers, beating ABC's Grey's Anatomy, which earned 13.60 million viewers at 9:00pm and moved to 14.23 million at the half-hour. The 18-49 demographic belonged to Grey's. The ABC show earned a 4.9/14 rating/share at 9:00pm and went up to 5.2/14 at 9:30pm. CSI came in second place with 4.2/12 and 4.1/11 at 9:00pm and 9:30pm respectively.
