Even with ratings a little off of the norm during the Thanksgiving week, CBS had much to be thankful for. While CSI lost to Grey’s Anatomy this week, the spin-offs came out on top.
CBS won Monday’s overall ratings with an 8.6 rating/13 share for the night, beating NBC's 8.0/12 to score the win (the two networks were separated by only about 100,000 viewers). FOX, 5.7/9, came in third. At 10:00 pm, CSI: Miami owned it’s timeslot with an 11.8/19, the night's best rating. NBC's Studio 60 scored a 4.7/8, and ABC’s What About Brian earned a 3.8/6.
Pre-Thanksgiving night numbers were down for everyone but CBS. CBS averaged an 8.6 rating/15 share in primetime, about the same as what it’s been posting on Wednesday nights all season. ABC was a distant second at 3.8/7, just ahead of NBC’s 3.7/6. CSI: NY solidly won its timeslot with a 9.7/16. Medium earned a 4.8/9 for NBC, while ABC's The Nine also slumped with a 2.8/5.
CBS also won Thanksgiving night with an 8.2 rating/15 share for the night to beat out ABC's 7.1/13. NBC was third with 6.9/13. However, ABC moved into the lead at 9 p.m. as Grey's Anatomy scored a 10.5/19, beating CBS’CSI with 9/18. NBC’s Deal or No Deal posted a 7.0/13.
