  • TVShowsOnDVD.com has announced that the CSI: New York first-season DVD release has been delayed from September to the 25th of October. The set will include not only all 23 episodes of CSI: NY's first season, but also the CSI: Miami episode "MIA/NYC NonStop."

  • Ahead of the coming week's CSI program at the National Film Theatre in London, JG Ballard at the British Guardian has posted an article examining how he's gotten completely hooked on CSI. "At times I think that the era of television is over, but then it suddenly comes up with something rich and strange. A few years ago, hunting the outer darkness of Channel 5, I began to linger over a series called C.S.I: Crime Scene Investigation. After only a few episodes I was completely hooked, for reasons I don't understand even today."

  • This past Friday, the BBC aired the final episode of the stand-up comedy program The Lenny Henry Show. The episode featured a CSI spoof called "CSI - Forensic:UK."

  • Even with many schools getting close to the summer vacation, they're still finding ways to introduce new forensic science courses: Chicago's Daily Herald has posted an article about an upcoming CSI Summer Camp.

  • The Boston Globe writes about two girls who worked with the FBI until they were sixteen year old, teaching FBI undercover agents how to impersonate young teens online to catch prowling pedophiles. Both girls hope to come back to the fold once they're older, with one hoping to be a lawyer, and the other, inspired by CSI, thinking about forensic science.

  • GameInfoWire reports that CSI: New York composer Bill Brown will be providing the music for the upcoming computer game The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

  • David Caruso Online has posted ten screencaps of the small role David Caruso (Horatio Caine) had in Twins.

  • The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) organisation is running a poll on their web site asking people who they think is the sexiest celebrity vegetarian. Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) is one of the people on the list.

  • Meanwhile, David Caruso Fans has posted the 1994 music video Lady Luck, by the Brian Setzer Orchestra, which also featured an appearance by the CSI: Miami star.

  • The JFO has posted two photo galleries featuring Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle): one of the 2002 CBS Summer Press Tour, one of a Rip Curl Malibu Pro Press Conference in 2004.
