CSI: Crime Scene Investigations's episode "Grissom v. Volcano" was nominated for a Cinema Audio Society award for outstanding achievement for sound mixing in television. The episode faces competition from episodes of 24, Alias, NYPD Blue and Six Feet Under.
Elyse reports at her web site that George Eads (Nick Stokes) will be appearing on Regis and Kelly Live on Wednesday, January 28th.
NBC will repeat the episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien that features Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) on January 28th at 12:35pm Eastern time according to Elyse.
Elyse reports that starting in the fall, Spike TV will run episodes of CSI five times a week at 11pm Eastern time.
At her Miami site, Elyse mentioned that CSI: Miami had been sold into syndication to A&E. The show will begin airing once a week on A&E in fall of this year, and go to 5 times a week in Fall 2006.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal announced that CSI creator Anthony Zuiker received the Silver Nitrate Award for "an individual or company that has notably contributed to the quality, visibility and/or success of filmmaking in Nevada."
