  • The CBS Network will participate in the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour March 28 by turning out all non-essential lights from 8:30pm until 9:30pm. According to a press release, "By voting with their light switches, Earth Hour participants will send a powerful, visual message to their leaders demanding immediate action on climate change." Individuals can learn how to participate by visiting the official Earth Hour website.

  • Julia Ormond (recurring CSI: New York character Deputy Inspector Gillian Whitford), has been cast in a CBS pilot called Three Rivers. Ormond will play the head of surgery in the series, which centers around the organ transplant division of Three Rivers Hospital. (Source)

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) and Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) are scheduled to attend The Humane Society of the United States Genesis Awards on March 28. (Source: Examiner.com)

  • Laurence Fishburne (CSI's Dr Raymond Langston) will reprise the role of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, which earned him a Tony Award nomination, in the Geffen Playhouse production of Thurgood next year. The play will run from June 27 through August 8, 2010.
