All three shows are victorious in their timeslots.
On Monday, CSI: Miami won the timeslot with the final new episode of the CSI franchise for the year. Miami pulled in about 13.9 million overall viewers at 10:00pm, increasing to 14.0 million at the half-hour. The show got a 9.4 rating/16 share for the first half hour, meaning that 9.4% of households were watching Miami at 10:00pm, increasing to 16% when factoring in only those households that were actually watching television at the time. At 10:30pm, the show went up to 9.6/17. In the crucial 18-49 demographic, Miami achieved a 3.9/10 in the first half hour and 3.9/11 for the second half of the show.
CSI: New York was scheduled to air a new episode on Wednesday, but CBS replaced it with a repeat mere days before it would have played. The repeat still pulled in enough viewers to gain the top spot for the time period with 11.36 million viewers at 10:00pm and 11.05 million at the half-hour. New York received a 7.8/13 in households in the first half-hour and 7.7/14 at 10:30pm. In the 18-49 demographic, CSI: NY easily beat the competition with 2.9/8 and 2.8/9 for the first and second halves of the episode respectively.
CBS aired two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Thursday. At 8:00pm, the repeat of last season's finale pulled in 8.56 million viewers in the first half hour, increasing to 9.62 million at the half-hour. The episode had the highest ratings for its timeslot, and the distance increased at 9:00pm, when the show aired in its usual timeslot. At 9:00pm, CSI aired the season eight premiere and pulled in 10.87 million viewers in the first half hour, going up to 11.64 million at 9:30pm. The repeat achieved a 7.1/11 rating/share in households at 9:00pm and 7.5/12 at the half-hour. The score for the vital 18-49 demographic put CSI in the top spot as it easily beat the competition with 3.0/9 at 9:00pm and 3.3/9 at 9:30pm.
