'CSI: Miami' Starts Season On Top

CBS and CSI: Miami began their fall seasons by winning the overnight ratings on Monday, September 22nd.
CSI: Miami's "Blood Brothers" brought in an 11.8 rating/18 share, one of its highest overnight scores of 2003, according to Zap2It. This means that on Monday, approximately 11.8% of American households with television sets were tuned to CSI: Miami, and 18% of households watching television at the time had "Blood Brothers" on the screen..
CBS averaged a 10.9/17 rating to win the night overall, with ABC and Monday Night Football in second place. Though NBC had the most viewers in the adults 18-49 demographic with a 5.7 rating, ABC and CBS were close behind with 5.6 and 5.3 respectively.
Preliminary numbers indicate that CBS won all three hours of prime time, though these numbers may change slightly when the total ratings become available later in the week.
