'Miami' DVD Delayed Until 2005

The second season DVD set of CSI: Miami, originally expected in the fall, has been held back to January of 2005 at the earliest.

TVShowsonDVD.com reported that the earliest the set will be released is January 4th of next year, but that this date has not yet been confirmed as the set's official release date. It could be released even later in the year.

It was previously reported that the second season of Miami would be released on October 12th of this year (story). CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's fourth season was due to be released on September 14th, but its release date has been pushed back until October 12th (story).

No reason was given by Paramount for the delay on the Miami set, though it could be due to a desire to space the release dates of the sets out. CSI: Miami's first season hit shelves at the end of June.
